Atlas quickstart
Open app.syntology.ai. The page needs JavaScript and WebGL: every paper is a point and every citation is a line, laid out from real citation structure (not a hand-drawn taxonomy).
What you are looking at
- Points — papers in the held graph.
- Lines — citation links between them.
- Header — search, Find / Ask / Have? modes, colour lenses, Legend, Code, Feed, Docs.
Pan by dragging. Zoom with the scroll wheel or trackpad. If the map is blank, check that WebGL is allowed in the browser; Atlas will not fall back to a static image.

Exact bindings are shown in each control’s title tooltip in the live app — if a shortcut moved, trust the tooltip over this page.
First five minutes
- Open Atlas and wait for the map to settle.
- Press
/and search a title you know (try Attention Is All You Need). - Click a result to focus that paper.
- Switch colour mode to Years, then Code, then back to Communities — same geometry, different paint.
- Open Have? and type
